Fancy somewhere for an extended-family get-together or a party with your naturist friends – the Pradera Estate, in Andalucia, southern Spain, could be just the place! The estate has two big rural fincas, sleeping up to 22 people, with a large swimming pool as the center feature; and lush gardens leading out to olive groves, with far-reaching views of the mountains. Perfect for sunning au naturel and bathing in the buff.

The luxury island resort accommodates just 14 couples in sumptuous villas, offering oceanfront alfresco dining and an extensive spa menu. Better still, there are 14 private beaches, so a nude stroll along the white sands is definitely on the cards. The Daily Telegraph suggests it could be one of the top ten places to skinny-dip.

This British-owned 3-bed family villa in rural Andalucia has a completely secluded private swimming pool and barbecue area. According to one published guest review: “The pool which is located at the rear of the property is to die for…  …perfect for skinny dipping!”

A three-bedroomed villa in Kamay, a residential neighbourhood in the Palm Beach section of Aruba, which has a completely private tropical garden and pool. The attractive outdoor space and pool are ideal for relaxing and swimming as nature intended. The nearby (textile) beach is a short walk.

The upmarket Villa Hibiscus offers three apartments built on the cliff-top at Positano, on the famous Amalfi coast. And, remarkably, the property has an elevator to its own tiny beach, custom-designed for secluded skinny dipping, according to the owner’s website.

The Javea property is traditional finca-style villa with over 15000 m (almost 4 acres) of land in the Montgo National Park. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms – the outdoor space, including the pool, is very private and ideal for naturists. The asking price is €500,000 Euro.

Dutch owners, Johanna Noyon and her husband Ton van Schaik, rent two holiday cottages on the borders of the Liguria and Piedmont regions of Italy that are suitable for naturists. The estate is 35km from the Mediterranean coast. Mulino is a former mill that was restored in 2011 and sleeps from two to six people, whilst the Rustico cottage has two bedrooms. Both secluded properties have shared use of the family swimming pool.

Leo and Corrie have opened a new naturist campsite under the name “Chatelet Nature”, in the centre of the Livradois-Forez national park, in the SE of the Puy de Dome department. The property also has a holiday apartment for 4, and a caravan for 2 to rent. The nearest shopping is in the market town of Ambert, which is within walking or cycling distance (2.5 km).

Richard and Caroline have established a simple eco-campsite one-hour north of Faro, southern Portugal. Set in 22 hectares of rolling hills amidst the peace and quiet of the countryside – and with it’s own lake – near Ourique. There are only 10 pitches so booking is essential. Although the naturist site is open all year, it is still under development and the owners are offering a special rate of just €6.50 Euro per night, including free wi-fi.

Due to popular demand the British-owned Infiniti apartments and villa complex at Corralejo, Fuerteventura, has again increased it’s fully-naturist season during 2012.

Built in 2010, Valle Romano Golf Resort, at Estepona ( Málaga), features 430 luxury air-conditioned apartments. Amongst the many attractions, a furnished nudist terrace is provided for those who prefer to relax au naturel. The resort is also particularly handy for Costa Natura and its popular nude beach, which are situated on the coast directly in front of Valle Romano.

Recently advertised in the UK naturist press – Warm southerly Canada, as far south as Bordeaux, France: fully equipped house adjoining a swimming lake. Extensive  private gardens and woods; two miles from deserted ocean beaches. Secluded, but not remote. Sleeps six, with internet and satellite TV. The Cape Cod-style cottage is at Lake Midway, Digby County, Nova Scotia.

Luxurious glamping in the buff at ‘Natural Portugal‘ – consists of five large tents each with bathroom (bath, shower and toilet), double bed, lounge furniture & terrace. Helene and Paul have been in touch to tell us about their new clothing-optional mini-resort and boat trips on the Caribbean island of Curacao. ‘The Natural‘ caters mostly for naturists and – so that there’s no misunderstanding – the owners make it clear there is a complete absence of ‘erotic parties’. In fact, peace and quiet is the order of the day. Accommodation is in attractive apartments, bungalows and a house. Curacao became an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in October 2010, following a change of constitutional status which dissolved the Netherlands Antilles.

Cordial Resort Hotels have acquired the original Sun River Club in Costa Calma, southern Fuerteventura. Originally opened in 1997, the name has now changed to ‘Hotel Best Age‘. A secluded area on the roof of the hotel has been set aside as a nudist terrace. The adults-only accommodation is set on high ground in a built up part of the resort, about a kilometre inland from the beach. In addition to all the usual hotel facilities, it offers a spa for relaxed pampering.

This small Dutch-owned naturist domain in the Nièvre department, in south-west Burgandy, offers two gîtes within the old farmhouse. One – Le Sureau – sleeps three people, and the other – Le Laurier – sleeps up to four. Champagne Manoir has a swimming pool, and additionally a mini camping site for up to 6 touring units, with electric hook-up (tents, caravans and motorhomes).

Advertised on the Naturist Life website – ‘Why not try a holiday in the Florida sun at a villa which is suitable for naturists – the pool and patio are completely screened, unlike most villas in the area that are open to view. The Disney theme parks are nearby (4 miles), as are many other attractions.’ The comfortable property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, together with cable TV and broadband internet.

Described by the owners – Sarah and Jim – as a private camp for anyone who loves getting back to nature! Set in what was once an old quarry in a sleepy village, near the town of Frome, Qwarrior Tipis apparently offer the total “glamping” experience. All are welcome to the secluded spot in the rural countryside, and according to Sarah and Jim, ‘it is especially made for naturists, lovers and families who will have total privacy here amid the birdsong and rustling trees’.

The Villaggio del Sole naturist eco-village is located on the hills of the Low Monferrato Astigiano region, and has extensive grounds of 35,000 sq metres.  Operated as an international community project through the naturist association AssoNatura, where people share the concept of creating an ecological naturist environment – living is sustainable, slow, natural and happy! It’s in a private site with attractive gardens and offers guests: camping, bungalow accommodation and B&B. The old farmhouse, which dates back more than a century, has been fully restored.
